PREPARING FOR THE TRAIL RIDING SEASON – May 9, 2020
Has anyone told you that you “just trail ride”? Well it takes a nice quiet, well minded, good horse to go out of an arena and face the challenges a trail ride can bring! We can help prepare you and your horse with confidence building horsemanship exercises and trail obstacles. Barn/herd sour, jigging, getting your horse to wait for mounting, dismounting, opening and shutting gates, water crossings, bridges, bushes (and the “monsters” that hide in them!), tarps, slickers, zipper/Velcro, saddle bags, water bottles, hobbling, are a few of the things we can work on, but make a list, specific to you and your horse, that we can work on as well. We will spend in the arena and obstacle area preparing for the trail and take an actual trail ride out, here at the ranch.
May 9 clinic total cost $175
Held at: Singing Dog Ranch, 5005 East County Road 66, Wellington, CO
